In 1999, Caitríona formed Dúlra, a new kind of Irish band with piper Chris Layer, fiddler Robert Mealy, and viol player Jay Elfenbein. Dúlra means "the elements" and invokes the raw, vital energy that the band emanates. Caitríona recently completed two CDs with Dúlra.
