Andrw Lawrence-King and John Hadden have collaborated on an astonishing 30 recordings. The OFFICIAL LIST was first written on the back of a Guernsey £5.00 note in a pub near St. Andrew's Church, Toddington, Gloucstershire, the venue for many of the recordings.
An imaginative and virtuostic harp soloist and a uniquely versatile continuo player, Andrew Lawrence-King is recognized as one of Europe's leading early music artists. 1996 saw the first recording by Lawrence-King's new ensemble, The Harp Consort: Ribayaz's Luz y Norte, a 17th century collection of Spanish, Italian, South American and African dance music on the dhm label. Subsequent recordings include Italian Concerto, Vivaldi Seasons, Purcell The Second Part of Musick's Hand-maid, Lawes Exquisite Consorts, Carolan's Harp, The Play of Daniel, La púrpura de la rosa. Spanish Gypsies, Les Miracles du Notre Dame and Arte de Fantasia.
